Google just made it easier for people to collaborate with each other using Microsoft Office by officially launching Google Cloud Connect Thursday.

The service, which has been in beta since November, is now available to all and uses Google’s vast cloud to store and synchronize any Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Excel document.

If you have Microsoft Office, using Google Cloud Connect is as easy as downloading a plug-in, installing it and then seeing a toolbar at the top of your Office application.

I'm working on a workshop and also an online class and found the neatest tool to organize videos... you can group them by content and have them all in one place! Take a look at my video page to see 2 examples of how you can use EMBEDR... a free service that lets you create your own list of videos. All you have to do is paste in the URL of the videos, arrange them in the order you want them to appear, and then choose a player. WOW... easy way to arrange and keep your videos organized.

Found this great tool for creating an online resource... LiveBinders... "The knowledge sharing place." You can add any resources you have-- kind of like a file folder-- and it keeps them organized online. It defaults as private, but you can share it with others or make it public. Sounds like a great way to collaborate online! What a great tool for collaborative projects in the classroom-- students could post their projects along with any resources they used. I also found this LiveBinder on Wordle- some really good resources for this Web 2.0 tool.
